Cub Scout Pack 83 of Madison, Alabama is in the Talakto District of the Greater Alabama Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Pack 83 is chartered by Asbury United Methodist Church.

In past years, our boys have done so many fun things! They have gone on overnight campouts with both the pack and their dens, slept on the USS Alabama Battleship, and even cave camped!

Boys joining the pack will have the opportunity to earn awards, advancements, patches, medals, and belt loops, build Pinewood Derby race cars and actually race them locally and at district level. They’ll take hikes and field trips, shoot BB Guns, wrist rockets, bow and arrows and have throw hatchets – all under the supervision of trained personnel at camps.

This is an invitation to all boys in first through fifth grades! You’ll make friends for life, learn new games, songs, and skits, the Cub Scout Promise, Law, Oath, Handshake, Sign, Salute, and Motto, do many of the fun things our boys have already done, and more! If you think you might be interested in joining our pack, come to any pack meeting (the third Thursday of each month – at Asbury UMC in Fellowship hall at 6:00.
